My Mission: To eliminate all UNnecessary trauma  through education and training
in Trauma Sensitivity.
I have created The Truth Trauma TV Show to share insights, information and tips on trauma. It's for those who are sick of searching for peace but negative repeating patterns continue to rule their life. It aims to help people understand why they behave the way they do and  make meaning of their suffering so they can step into their life fully and live authentically.

These videos may help by exploring how unresolved trauma can impact your personal and business life. They also look at how we can eliminate UNnecessary trauma from our world through trauma informed care and practice.

Statistics show our mental health is declining and we can do something about that.
Meaning of trauma:  Trauma is overwhelming stress that surpasses a person's capacity to
manage, or integrate the intensity of the experience.
The main thing I observe in people is that they are unaware of how their unresolved trauma is playing out in their current personal and business lives. This was exactly what happened to me prior to my own trauma recovery.

During the process of resolving and integrating my own childhood trauma (which I had normalised and didn't think was trauma), I became crystal clear that the way I was in the world didn't have to continue. It became clear that I had choice, something that people who live with trauma responses and repeating patterns aren't aware they have. I was able to see how disconnected from myself I was and therefore how disconnected I was with others and my environment.

My work is supported by the inner work I have done as well as the academic study completed and that I continue to do. It may not be an easy path to recover from trauma and I am here to say it is such a gift to live a life free from the shackles of unresolved trauma. The joy that comes from living consciously is like nothing I have ever experienced before. It is a game changer and I invite you to explore the possibilities for yourself. I can't remember a client that didn't write down that they were looking for peace from their therapy.
"Inner Peace is experienced when unresolved trauma is healed. It takes Inner Work to find Inner Peace."
Linda Conyard

A Little About Me
I love my family and friends
I rescue animals and give them a home where they're loved & safe.

Where they can learn to trust again after their experience of trauma.
I'm a Gestalt Psychotherapist as well as a Family Constellation (Systemic) Facilitator. These are the two main methodologies that I use in my work as a Trauma & Trans-generational Therapist and Female Entrepreneur's Mentor.

All the studies I have completed over the years allow me to have a multi faceted approach when working with my clients. As you can see from my qualifications listed out below, I have a broad range of interests which give me an holistic view of the world and the people in it.

An area that is often not acknowledged in our society is our generational patterns and traumas. These can cause an enormous amount of suffering for people and they usually don't understand how generational patterns can impact their life or business. I love this work because it gives such powerful insights to those who explore this part of themselves. I use it myself all the time!

I have studied meditation as a Buddhist practitioner which supports my work with clients. My studies have also led me to the field of death and dying. I've been part of Karuna Hospice since 2007 as a Family Support Volunteer. I love supporting people to have the difficult conversations around death and dying.

I am a thought provoking speaker and facilitator. Nothing delights me more than to challenge the status quo and see participants get their 'AHA' moments.

All too often our systems (health, education and justice) inadvertently traumatise or re-traumatise those they are there to serve. I believe that through education in Trauma Sensitive Workplaces this can be changed. And as a result of this training those working in the systems and those who are being served by the systems will feel more satisfaction with the service.

Through my personal learning and inner work, I have developed my own uniqueness in blending the multiple modalities that I've studied and my lived experiences to facilitate growth in those who work with me.

Interesting Fact

One of the questions my client intake form has is, 'What are  your Life Goals and Priorities?' to which every client has written, Peace! It's not always written the same way, might be 'be more peaceful' or 'to feel peace' or 'peace'. It was also what I deeply desired and still do. I intentionally strive for a peaceful life and help others to do the same even if your environment is not peaceful.

About my business
My business is based on the Buddhist philosophy of compassion and kindness. I work with people of any faith or none. This is important because I am of the belief that Spirituality is an often overlooked, yet an essentially important aspect to consider when working with people from an holistic perspective. That doesn't mean you have to have a belief or religion.
The definition that I like to use for Spirituality is:

"Spirituality is the aspect of humanity that refers to the way individuals seek and express meaning and purpose and the way they experience their connectedness to the moment, to the self, to others, to nature and to the significant or sacred" (International consensus conference - Puchalski, Vitillo, Hull & Reller, Vol 17, No. 6, 2014).

Any workshops or programs are created with the intention that it is of immense value regardless of the cost. My only intention is to support and encourage your change process. I walk with you until you reconnect and embody that strength and spirit within you that has made you survive. You have survived! Now it's time to thrive and live your life fully free of the story that traps you.

I don't publish for the sake of publishing. My monthly(ish) newlsetter will let you know what is coming up and any other news or interesting information I come across. I won't abuse your inbox (that's something I don't like myself - being swamped with emails selling). So I'll only give one or two opportunities to jump on board with any of my offerings. Whenever I offer anything to sell, you can know that I have put my heart, soul, knowledge, lived experience and my learnings from my clinical practice into it and it is an offering to be supported to make change that will allow you to enjoy a fulfilling life.

I continue to do my own Inner Work so that I can be the best I can be for those I serve in my community. I walk my talk and don't ask people to try anything I haven't done myself. I'll also be very honest about my own struggles and the learnings I glean from them.

I don't do big sales campaigns or launches, I'm not very good at being active on social media and I don't spend money on advertising. My business has grown through those I've worked with singing my praises. I do love running workshops and training. I love face to face engagement. Online training is something I am getting used to. I do my business in alignment with my intuition and my mission.

Another important part of my business is giving back. I support community organisations both with my time and financially as opportunities arise. I also rescue animals and give them a home where they can feel safe and be loved.
