Linda Maree Conyard(c)

Hello beautiful Thrivers! I'm Linda Conyard, and I'm absolutely delighted to step into this vibrant community as a leader. Hayley told me the other day that I was the first to join this group. As someone who has dedicated her life to helping people access their inner wisdom and navigate life's transitions with grace, I feel an instant connection and alignment to the vision that Hayley has created here.

My journey has led me to guide soulful individuals through periods of significant change, helping them reconnect with their authentic selves and discover deeper meaning in their lives. What I've discovered along the way is that nature isn't just something we should protect, it's our greatest teacher and healer.

The Mirror of Nature
Have you ever noticed how a walk in the forest can suddenly clear your mind when you've been wrestling with a decision? Or how watching waves roll onto the shore can put your challenges into perspective? This is no coincidence.

When we step into natural spaces, we're stepping into a living reminder of our own inner wisdom. We are made of the same five elements as nature is, so when we are in nature, we are resonating with it. The oak tree doesn't question whether it should grow toward the sunlight, it simply follows its nature. The stream doesn't wonder if it's taking the right path, it flows around obstacles with graceful persistence.

Nature embodies the very wisdom we often seek externally. In a world constantly pulling us into noise, comparison, and disconnection, nature offers us a profound invitation: to remember who we truly are.

The Wisdom of Slowing Down
One of the most powerful lessons nature teaches us is the art of slowing down. We live in a culture that celebrates constant productivity, leaving many of us feeling exhausted and disconnected from our inner world.

Yet when we observe the natural world, we see that there are seasons for everything, times of vibrant growth and times of restful dormancy. Both are equally necessary and sacred.

When we allow ourselves to slow down, even for a few moments each day, something remarkable happens. The constant chatter of the mind begins to quiet, and we can hear the subtle voice of our intuition, our inner compass that always knows which way is north. I have this analogy that I use to help my clients get a sense of what I mean by this, it’s Jellyfish or Whale. Jellyfish can often be at the mercy of the ocean and there is no free will for them. Whereas the whale knows when to swim north and when to swim south and what the ocean does is irrelevant. It stays true to its own path. The ocean is representative of the external world which is not a stabilising place to exist. There is often turmoil and we can get embroiled in that and it disturbs our peace. I teach my clients how to come home to the truth of who you really are and live your life from there.

A Simple Practice to Try

I'd like to invite you to try a simple practice that has helped many of my clients reconnect with their inner wisdom through nature:

The Mindful Nature Walk
1. Choose a natural space, this could be a forest, a park, your garden, or even a pot plant on your balcony.
2. Begin by feeling your feet connected to the ground. Then take three conscious deep breaths, inviting yourself to become fully present.
3. As you move through (or sit with) this natural space, notice what draws your attention. Perhaps it's the determined sprout pushing through soil, the pattern of light filtering through leaves, or the sound of birds conversing overhead.
4. When something catches your attention, pause. Ask yourself: "What might this be teaching me? What wisdom is nature offering me in this moment?"
5. Listen without expectation. Sometimes the insight comes as a clear thought; other times it's simply a feeling or an opening.
6. Before leaving, be sure to thank this natural teacher for its guidance.

What's beautiful about this practice is that it requires no special equipment or expertise, just your willingness to be present and curious. And yet, it can provide profound clarity precisely when we need it most.

The Bridge to Regenerative Living
When we learn to access and trust our inner wisdom, our decisions naturally become more aligned with what truly matters, not just for ourselves, but for the collective. This is where personal growth and regenerative living meet.

Living in harmony with nature begins with reconnecting to our own true nature, rediscovering the wisdom that already lives within us, beneath the layers of conditioning and "shoulds" that modern life has placed upon us.

I believe that's why many of us are drawn to communities like Thriving with Nature. We sense that there's a more meaningful, connected way to live.

I'm so looking forward to exploring this journey together, supporting each other as we learn to listen more deeply, both to the wisdom of the natural world and to the wisdom within ourselves.

I'd love to hear from you
1. When was the last time you felt a profound connection with nature, and what did it teach you about yourself?
2. Which elements of nature do you feel most drawn to; forests, oceans, mountains, gardens and what do you think this might reveal about your inner landscape?
3. If nature could speak directly to you about your current life situation, what message do you sense it might have for you?

Please share your thoughts in the comments, I'm genuinely excited to connect with you all and learn from your experiences as well!

With warmth and appreciation,

Linda ♡
