Do You Know How Your unhealed past Is showing up in your life?

Our repeating patterns from our unhealed past often subconsciously run our lives!

Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?

  • I Feel like...I'm not good enough and this stops me from doing what I really want to do with my life or I don't know what I can do with my life? I feel stuck!
  • I Feel...trapped in a life that doesn't reflect my true potential.
  • I keep...finding myself in similar situations, no matter what I think I have changed.
  • I'm challenged...by various symptoms such as, anxiety, depression, lack of interest, addictions, or unexplained or compounding health issues.
  • My...finances, relationships and overall wellbeing are less than satisfactory.
  • It seems...I have no outside help or resources. Everyone else seems to get what they need but I always seem to be helping others and putting myself on the back burner.
  • I'm frustrated that...I am not able to reconcile deep within myself  the inner knowing that I have a purpose and as hard as I try to figure out what that is, I can't stop operating the way I currently am?
  • And when it comes down to it...I just give up because I don't know what else to try and my life is slipping through my fingers moment by moment, day by day, month by month and year by year?

"Freedom and Peace are states of being that come from within yourself. They are intrinsic to who you truly are."

Our Core Offering Teaches You How To Sustainabily Change Your Life

Transformative Alchemy: Inhabit the Body, Liberate the Mind

Mission: Help 10,000 Women Sustainably Change Their Lives.
Be a catalyst to eliminate UNnecessary Trauma through education on trauma sensitivity.

We all want a happy, healthy and wealthy life. But how many of us actually have that? So many of us continually seek whatever it is that offers us a way to feel better. How many of those things work? Depressing even to think of the number of things you've tried and haven't got the result you were hoping for! My hope is that you will grab a cuppa and make some time to quietly read what I have written for you. As you read, take notice if it makes your body feel better. See if you can drop your thinking mind while you do this.

Okay, hopefully you have a nice cup of something you love. Even notice how that makes you feel when you give yourself something nice. If you are still reading then I suspect that you resonated with some of those challenges mentioned above and that something inside you is drawn to what is about to be shared. Pay attention to that feeling and notice if it stays with you or if your mind interrupts it.

What has just been spoken about and shared with you is self awareness. Awareness of what is happening inside your body and mind is critical for any healing or change process to be successful. Even if you take that gem and practice that you will notice a difference in your life.

More than likely you are a woman who feels trapped in a life that doesn't reflect your true potential and you are looking to find a way to tap into that inner power. Now you are here, we want you to know that we totally understand that many women often carry unresolved trauma deep within their bodies, leading to disconnection from themselves and confusion about who they truly are. If we have normalised our trauma, we may not even recognise that it's there to resolve. Instead we find ourselves in situations that repeat or we may have trouble holding our emotions. The impact of trauma can manifest in numerous ways, leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unable to reach your full potential. It is most likely that you don't even realise that these unresolved emotions are at the root of your struggles, silently holding you back from living a fulfilling life.

A Path to Wholeness and Freedom

We specialise in providing a safe and transformative space for women like you to embark on a journey of profound healing. Our approach is rooted in the knowledge that you have everything you need within you to take back the reins of your life. We acknowledge that we are all spiritual beings, whatever spirituality means for you (it doesn't have to be the dogma of religion).

We believe that to heal it is essential to focus on reconnecting you to your body so you can unlock the powerful healing potential within. Putting things in the right order is crucial to the work we do. By correct order we mean that your Heart and Soul need to lead your life and the mind needs to be the servant to your Heart and Soul.

You will gain understanding about how you have come to be the way you are through deep compassion for yourself. The relief this gives is invaluable. We don't hold anything back, we teach what works.

We also acknowledge that everyone unfurls in the exact way that is right for them. Some will find it easier to connect with their body than others and this is all perfectly right. What we aim to create when you join our community is space to be exactly who you are and support you to accept that you will heal in exactly the right way for you. We don't do comparison, but we do celebrate every win no matter how big or small that is.

Embrace Your Inner Calling for Change

You may have arrived here through a referral, or perhaps you stumbled upon us in your search of answers. Regardless of the path that led you here, we trust that it was no coincidence. Your soul is whispering to you for change, urging you to shed the weight of the past and step into a future brimming with possibilities. Our mission is to help you answer that call, and to guide you as you pull back the layers of suffering and reclaim the essence of who you truly are.

I am dedicated to nurturing a safe and compassionate environment, free of judgment. As a community of women wanting to achieve the same goal of living through their Heart and Soul, we will guide, support, and educate you through your change process, gently untangling the threads that have kept you bound. The value of connection and community cannot be underestimated in the healing journey.

Embodying Authenticity

The healing process is as unique as you are. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. Instead, we'll work collaboratively, as a community to create a space for everyone who finds us. I firmly believe that true healing occurs when we learn to embrace our authentic selves and learn to listen to the wisdom within. We all need to learn how to engage with difference instead of seeing it as a threat or challenge.

Stepping into Your Power

As you journey through the healing process, you'll notice profound shifts in every aspect of your life. Anxiety and depression will make way for inner peace and self-acceptance. Sleep issues will be replaced with rejuvenating deep rest. Unexplained medical symptoms may dissolve as you regain harmony within. The possibilities are endless when you truly connect with the power within. I wrote an article that explains my analogy for how we often face the wrong direction which is external to themselves instead of looking inside for the answers. You can read that article 'Jellyfish or Whale' here.

"Whatever is unresolved within you Will show up in your life, your business and your leadership."
~ Linda-maree, Conyard

Whether you are a woman who is a stay-at-home mother or a multi-million dollar female entrepreneur, or anything in between, your unresolved past will continue to show up and run your life until you decide to do something different. It will impact your leadership either at work or within your family.

We keep doing what we've always done until we come to know something different. We are ruled by what we have internalised from our childhood experiences, such as our beliefs, our point of view and who we think we are. We always see things through the lens of our lived or
survived experiences. Anais Nin wisely said, "We don't see things as they are. We see them as we are."

The truth is, however you have survived your life, and creatively adjusted yourself, is so far from who you truly are! That's the secret to any challenge you face - realising your either react or respond from and adjusted version of you!

What I have come to personally realise and I often see in my work with clients is that there are three major disconnects that interfere with the potential of each and every woman. These are:

          1.   Disconnection from self;
          2.   Disconnection from others; and
          3.   Disconnection from our environment.

If we were deeply connected to ourselves, we wouldn't treat ourselves the way we do, we wouldn't treat each other how we do, and we certainly wouldn't treat our environment the way we do.

The remedy is both simple and challenging at the same time. What is required is to make a deeper connection with your true self. This creates the challenge of taking a good hard look at what aspect of yourself is running your life. Once you have found this then commitment is needed to change what doesn't serve you and to assimilate your wounded unhealed self.

It can be challenging to learn how to inhabit your body. The usual reason this occurs is that when we don't have the resources to digest our trauma at the time it happens, it remains unresolved within us. We then continue t0 reenact (Peter Levine, Waking the Tiger) our trauma.

Take a moment and review your life, looking for repeating patterns. For example: You may have lived in an abusive environment when you were young and to speak up was dangerous because you might have been hit for it. As a child you are surviving your life because without your adults you wouldn't survive. You creatively adjust yourself to ensure your survival. In this example you would learn to not speak and hold in all the feelings of being silenced. You may feel anger, frustration or even hate. Because you can't leave this environment you have to continue to survive it. Then once you are old enough you can leave.

But what you leave with is a well worn neural pathway in your brain of a learned way of being/surviving. We subconsciously seek what is familiar, even if you don't want to because you don't know how to do it any differently. Therefore the healing process involves you becoming aware this is happening, recognise where it all began and then find a way to have the experience of creating opportunities for being able to speak without the body saying it is dangerous.

The hardest thing you will ever do is to take an honest look into yourself. The best gift you can ever give yourself is to take an honest look into yourself!

The next hardest thing is that most of us do not recognise the symptoms we are experiencing are as a result of unresolved trauma. I know this was very true for me. I had normalised (although I knew it wasn't right) my childhood experiences. I was in my early 50s when it clicked for me that I had a childhood filled with trauma.

"We cannot live beyond our beliefs." ~ Jenny Xenos

There is a calling deep within many women, and the time for Transformation is Now! The state of our world and society needs each and every one of us in the fullness of who we are to start showing up.

If you are ready to take on the most important commitment you will ever make and begin this part of your transformational journey toward reconnection and self determination, and you are seeking to reclaim your Soul, which is your birth right, then we would love to have you with us. We are here to walk alongside of you as you walk alongside us. We just need you to take the first step and we will meet you there!

"The Unattended Mind ensures we live into our Self-Fulfilling Prophecies, our Habitual Repeating Patterns and Beliefs which come from what is Unresolved in us. The problem is that we live our life through our
Creative Adjusted Self, not Our True Self." ~ Linda-maree, Conyard

A Little About Me

At 49 years of age I found myself sitting in a beanbag listening to the director of Gestalt Therapy Brisbane talk about their Master of Gestalt Therapy program. I had no idea how I was going to do this training but I knew I would. I didn't consider myself academic and something inside me had bought me to this point.

I had been doing my inner work and studying since 2002 when I left my job as Registrar (Business Services Manage) for a State Primary School. But it was this study that opened up deep comprehension of trauma and allowed me to recognise the childhood trauma I had normalised and was therefore left unattended.

Around the same time I met Family Constellation Work and studied that alongside my Masters. For me Gestalt and Constellation work go beautifully together. Constellation work looks at ancestors and generationally what you may be carrying forward.

It is through these lenses that I support others to resolve their trauma and transgenerational trauma, freeing themselves from a life of creative adjustment and repeating patterns; transforming into a life of self-determination and deep connection to who they truly are.

If you would like to know more about my story, you can read my articles, Finding Me and The Day I Couldn't Make A Coffee. You can also find more information here.

"Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It is a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness for others.  Compassion becomes real when we recognise our shared humanity." ~ Pema Chodron

Testimonial: Approximately 3 years ago (2018), whilst I was navigating one of the most confronting periods of my life, I was thankfully offered the name/number of a respected therapist who I was told may be able to offer me some support. The therapist I am referring to is Linda Conyard, and this remarkable woman quite literally changed my life.

At the time I knew little about Linda other than the fact that she was a Trauma Therapist, and given the work I had done previously throughout my life, in an attempt to try an unravel my (what I now understand) complex trauma, I was a little dubious initially wondering how this woman may be able to help me where others had previously fallen short.

Well, where do I start? Linda possesses all of the qualities you would expect in a great therapist. She is, of course, extremely patient, supremely supportive, profoundly empathetic, incredibly insightful...the list is endless. However, as important as these qualities are, Linda's approach and commitment to healing (both to herself and others) extended way beyond this, way beyond what I initially understood or even believed was possible. She is unlike anyone I have come across in all of the years of my commitment to therapy...both as a client and as a therapist myself.

Linda is a healer. In using this term (not a term I use lightly), I am referring to Linda's remarkable ability to not only support her clients through the healing journey of the body, mind and emotion, but arguably more importantly, the healing of the heart and the spirit. She is completely holistic in her belief, unwaveringly spiritual in her view and beautifully practical and down to earth in her approach.

A therapist of the highest order, a mentor beyond comparison, an hilariously funny and frank individual and a deeply kind and loving soul. I am also extremely grateful to be able to say she is now someone I call my trusted friend. A more profound and inspiring woman I have never met."- Jayne Cassidy
